Nairobi County governor, Hounerable Sakaja has finally opened up after what happened in Nairobi. According to him, officers who were working under Nairobi Metropolitan should be sacked and denied their dues during this tough economic times. He has directed those who are frustrating NMS Officer to stop and handle the situation with dignity it requires. He has also told those involved that, they will be given priority while applying for the Jobs in Nairobi County.
“Under my watch, no one will ever be unfairly dismissed. Especially not in these tough economic times. I directed that all former NMS enforcement officers whose contracts with NMS had expired to report back to work immediately and be paid their pending dues. We will give them first priority to apply for the permanent and pensionable jobs under the Nairobi County Government” posted Sakaja.
Well, it is a relief for the people of Nairobi who were not sure what was awaiting then after the exit of Nairobi Metropolitan department that was forced by president Uhuru Kenyatta. Let’s wait and see how things will play out soon
