Ashalulu is trying to reconcile a daughter called Wangui and her mother who have been on bad terms for a long time. Wangui’s mother is accusing her daughter of disrespecting her.
According to Wangui’s mother, she said that Wangui got married to a man and later that man kicked her out while she was about to conceive, so Wangui’s mother used all her money to take care of his daughter and her child.
Even after all this effort, Wangui went back to that man without informing her mother, and on top of that Wangui and her husband took Wangui’s mother to the police station accusing her of causing divorce in her daughter’s marriage. Wangui’s mother was fined for this crime which was false accusations.
Now when she was asked to forgive her daughter, she said that even in her death she would never forgive her until the day Wangui would bring a cow for her.
“I will never forgive you until you bring me a cow, the money that I wasted in your cases and child care I wanted to buy a cow with them,” she said.
