Kenyan preacher Prophet David Owuor has made a striking claim about his future death, saying he had a conversation with God in which he was told he would be assassinated in Jerusalem.
The remarks, reported in February 2019, came from statements Owuor made about what he described as a divine revelation concerning the end of his earthly ministry. According to reports, the preacher said God had spoken to him about the circumstances surrounding his death.
Owuor claimed that he would be killed in Jerusalem after completing his work as a preacher. He further said his body would remain without burial for three days before he would be taken to heaven.
The preacher linked his account to the biblical Book of Revelation, particularly Chapter 11, which describes two witnesses who are killed and whose bodies remain exposed before they are raised.
Owuor presented the alleged encounter as a direct communication with God and said he had been shown details about the event. He described the reported assassination as part of a larger prophetic assignment that he believed was connected to biblical events.
The claims generated considerable public interest and discussion in Kenya, particularly because Owuor has frequently described visions and messages that he attributes to God.
