Gen Z L

A young Kenyan woman in her 20s, part of Generation Z, has stirred debate online after boldly stating that she would never date a broke man at any point in her life. In a video that has since gone viral, she insisted that financially unstable men should not even consider dating women. According to her, a man must be wealthy enough to fully provide for her needs and give her a weekly “girlfriend allowance” of Ksh. 50,000.

She made it clear that she is only attracted to wealth and believes money is the most important factor in a successful relationship. In her opinion, love alone is not enough financial security is what makes a relationship work. She added that a man must come already established, as she has no interest in helping anyone build from the ground up.

The woman also advised other women to stop enduring hardship in relationships while “trusting the process.” She argued that suffering should never be part of love, and that women deserve financial comfort from the beginning. Her views have sparked mixed reactions online, with some agreeing with her standards and others criticizing them as materialistic and unrealistic.
