Days after UDA expelled Gloria Orwoba for backing former interior cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i for presidency, Githunguri member of parliament Hon Gathoni Wamuchomba has finally made a bold declaration.
Speaking as reported by Saturday’s Standard publication, Gathoni Wamuchomba noted that she is ready to back Fred Matiangi in his bid to unseat president William Ruto and therefore UDA can expell her too.
She added that the head of state should be first expelled from UDA for standing with the former prime minister Raila Odinga despite Mr Odinga’s defiance on his administration.
She was speaking in response to Gloria Orwoba’s expulsion from the ruling party. It should be noted that Gachagua’s party welcomed Gloria Orwoba.
