However, this happy union came to an abrupt end after some allegations were made about pastor Kanyari.
The allegations were advanced by the ‘jicho Pevu crew’. According to ‘Jicho Pevu’, Pastor Victor Kanyari was accused of serious fraud cases. This quickly ended his marriage and saw him lose his kids and congregants after the church lost faith in him.
After this setback, Pastor Kanyari revealed that it was very difficult for him after people who were close to him vanished, leaving him at the mercy of his parents.
The man of God, however, maintained that refusing to give up in life is what made him sail through his tribulation.
Talking about her previous marriage to controversial preacher Victor Kanyari, Betty Bayo admitted that she made a mistake.
“The mistake I made was to get into a marriage without really knowing my partner. I didn’t take my time to research the background.” She says.
“I didn’t consider things like character, personality. We differed in a lot of things. Every topic was an argument.” She recalls.
