Cabot

Andrew Cabot spoke to the media for the first time since his wife Kristin went viral for infidelity. The former Astronomer HR executive was recorded in a contentious kiss cam moment with her employer at a Coldplay performance.

Kristin filed for divorce on August 13, with a court planned for November 26. Her husband addressed the problem.

The scandal began on July 16, when Kristin, Astronomer’s then-Chief People Officer, was photographed on the jumbotron at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in an embrace with her employer, Andy Byron, Astronomer’s then-CEO, during a Coldplay concert.

The public exhibition was exacerbated by a lighthearted remark from Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, which fueled rumors of a possible affair between the two, eliciting tremendous reactions.

The incident resulted in backlash for both Kristin and Andy, including internet scrutiny and memes about the scenario.

Many people questioned the nature of their connection after witnessing an unpleasant moment on the kiss cam.

For the first time since the controversy, Andrew Cabot, Kristin’s estranged husband and CEO of Privateer Rum, addressed the subject through a spokeswoman.

The representative acknowledged that Andrew and Kristin had been separated secretly for several weeks prior to the Coldplay concert, and that their divorce proceedings had already begun prior to the incident.

In a statement to People Magazine, the spokesperson stated, “Andrew and Kristin were privately and amicably separated several weeks before the Coldplay concert.”

Prior to that occasion, they had already decided to divorce. Andrew believes that now that the divorce file is public, it will offer respectful closure to rumors while also allowing his family the privacy they have always valued.
