Kericho Senator and Majority Leader in the Senate, Honourable Aaron Cheruyoit, has reacted to Blogger Amenya’s accusation that he was the mastermind behind the Adani deal, which was opposed by Kenyans who led demonstrations in Nairobi demanding President William Samoei Arap Ruto drop it.
According to Aaron Cheruyoit, who is also a High Court lawyer. He has stated that he had nothing to do with the Adani agreement. He has advised Amenya and other bloggers against publishing false information regarding the Adani transaction and tying to major politicians in the country.
The Adani agreement was going to cost Kenyan taxpayers a whopping Kshs 238 billion, which is quite pricey. And the money will only be utilised to expand the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Cheruyoit is only one of many senior politicians that have been tied to the Adani venture.
