Today, a famous Gengetone artist Mejja was in an interview at Kameme FM where he was being hosted by Muthoni Wa Kirumba in her show called Canjamuka in a segment called Njorua Ya Kothi.
Mejja said that he was born in Pumwani Hospital but he was raised in Nyeri county by his mother Khadija Mumbi together with with his other siblings.
Mejja was asked about his father but he said that that it is a story for another day, he said that this is hard issue that is not easy to be addressed.
“About my dad,that is a story for another day, that is hard story to narrate” he said.
Mejja did not want to talk neither to mention anything about his father, he only talked about his mother, grandmother and his siblings.
Also, Mejja uses his his mother’s name Khadija as his surname “Mejja Mtoto Wa Khadija”
