There’s a new king in town. His name is Punisher aka Dowa aka Jicho Nyanya. This matatu which plies the 111 Ngong route is currently the talk of the town. Everyone wants to have a piece of it. Punisher is giving her counterparts the likes of Usain Bolt, Catalyst, Lacostee, Dust a run for their money.
The graffiti is just amazing! The owner seems to have invested a lot to have Punisher acquire its first class status. The interior is also unique compared to other city matatus and those who have rode in it have attested that it is one of the few best matatus with comfortable seats in the city. Punisher (KCJ) is one of the latest matatus in the city a clear indication that the matatu business is profitable. Everyday we see new matatus on the busy city roads and who knows this might be the only surviving business of late, despite the harsh economic times.
Punisher belongs to Luminous Sacco and sources indicate that the fancy matatu has a fridge inside (we are yet to confirm this).
