Kapseret Membe of Parliament hon Oscar Sudi and CS Roads and Transport hon Kipchumba Murkomen are in hot soup after Senators orders thourough investigations for them.
Speaking today during Senate proceedings, Senator Boni Khalwale argued that Oscar Sudi and CS Roads and Transport hon Kipchumba Murkomen should explain vividly where they are getting harambee funds.
“I offended someone I didn’t name in Kakamega over the weekend regarding the issue of opulence. I questioned how an MP could donate Ksh 20 million at a harambee, which upset him greatly,” Khalwale stated.
Khalwale also added that he has been monitoring the amount of money Murkomen and Sudi are carrying to churches with bags.
“At another event, I saw a minister from this government carrying a large bag and announcing the millions it contained. If we don’t reject these actions, people like Murkomen will think they are giving us their own money. It’s not their money; those are proceeds of corruption,” Khalwale said amid cheers from the House.
