Halima

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has highly congratulated the husband of a Malian woman who gave birth to nine children.

Sonko congratulated the man not just for achieving the impossible, but for sticking around after a very big burden of many children befell his family.

How this record-breaking childbirth happened in the very first place is what has left many people puzzled.

Everything started in May 2021 when Halima Cisse, a woman from Mali, travelled to Morocco in order to deliver after nine months of being pregnant.

The doctors had initially stated that she was to give birth to seven children, but after the actual delivery took place, she gave birth to nine.

The children were delivered by cesarean section at a clinic in Casablanca, Morocco.

The case was confirmed by the Malian government and the Guinness World Records as the world record for the most children delivered in a single birth to survive.

However, with many children in the family, many predicted that the burden of the family would rise financially, which actually happened, and many predicted the father of the children would run away due to this burden and stress.

Despite all this, the fact that the husband of Halima remained by her side is something that many have liked and are happy about.

“The real miracle is that the father is still around after everything that happened,” Sonko stated.

This heavy birth is one of the world records that is yet to be broken, but to many, the real record was the husband staying around to financially support.
