The former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Wednesday the 7th of December 2022 led the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya leaders in a rally at Kamukunji Ground in Nairobi, where they met their supporters.
The meeting was called for the Azimio team to consult with their supporters about the current state of the economy and the path President William Ruto is taking the country.
While addressing his supporters, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has threatened to boycott elections in the country, if President William Ruto appoints his officers of the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission.
Odinga cited that the four dissenting Commissioners from the Independent Electoral And Boundaries Commission must be reinstated. He faulted the move in which the Cherera four were suspended.
Odinga went ahead to claim that President William Ruto has captured the judiciary. He said that there are early indications that judicial capture is going to happen. He however warned that Kenyans will not sit and watch as the country is taken back to the dark days.
