Jamaican soldiers have helped Kenyan police in their war against Haitian gangs, which have taken over many districts of Haiti following the assassination of their presidents.
Several sources have revealed that Kenyan President William Ruto promised to send over 900 Kenya Police officers to assist in the fight against Haitian gangs, a promise that was kept after President Ruto deployed over 400 Kenya Police officers to Haiti.
According to reports, President William Ruto is discussing about the deployment of Kenyan police to Haiti to assist people who, he claims, are being killed by gangs.
This is happening at the same time that Haiti Gang Leader Jimmy Cherizier, nicknamed Barbecue, has accused Kenya police of employing excessive force in Haiti. According to the gang leader’s reports, Kenya Police allegedly sprayed tear gas in his home, and they have allegedly been using excessive power in Haiti.
