Many families got affected by demonstrations that happened countrywide few weeks ago who’s aim was to protest against the high cost of living that the opposition government led by Raila Odinga ignited after a lot of concerns from suffering Kenyans. Some families lost their loved ones in the protests while others lost their properties as a result of the protests.
Through a renown X(formerly twitter) account known as Kenyans.co.ke a photo of a house was posted and it was alleged that the house was built by Raila Odinga for a widow in Emali in Makueni after the widow lost his son during demonstrations.(Photo|courtesy)
Kenyans on twitter after seeing the post reacted differently some saying that the house does not look new and could have not been built under such a short period. Others however thanked Raila odinga while saying that he is kind and has done something meaningful. Others said that the house cannot bring the late son back while others claimed that politicians always come when its already late.
