Chebugon Primary School in Bomet county housed a large number of people who had come to send goodbye young Emmanuel Kimutai, who had been cruelly slain by his father.
As the caravan of automobiles snaked into the site brimming with people from all walks of life, many began sobbing and regretting his premature demise.
People also gave money to his family to cushion them at this terrible period when they have many burial expenditures.
Kimutai was a Chebugon Primary School student who was scheduled to attend Prayer Day on Friday, September 12, but died on the same day.
Kimutai was reportedly beaten severely by his father after taking his milk and bread, resulting in internal bleeding, serious chest injuries, and major lung damage.
Muttai Jackson’s reaction: “But am sure many of them were aware of the struggles the father and the son went through.. but looks here they are in thousands and have done huge fundraiser which they couldn’t initially..may the soul R.I.P.”
Vinicious Vinie: “Rest in peace, Emanuel. May justice prevail. You died not as a result of an accident or illness, but as a result of your so-called father’s rage and failure to fulfill basic requirements to the family.
The boy died because he was hungry. Na mungu ailaze mahali pema palipo, na wema peponi.”
