Amid expectations of President William Ruto announcing his new cabinet, the government has called for a media address that is to happen in the next 15 minutes.
Posting on its social media handles, the office of the Spokesperson of the Government of Kenya has invited the media to cover his address at 10:30 am today, Thursday 18 July, 2024.
Although the agenda of the address is not clear, according to the invite, Dr Isaac Mwaura will be delving into ‘matters of National importance’.
The event will take place at the Kenya International Conference Centre (KICC) tower; first floor.
This comes at the time when the country is expecting the President to announce a new cabinet after dismissing his previous cabinet last week.
Yesterday, the government gazetted the dismissal of the entire cabinet apart from one; Musalia Mudavadi who is the Prime Cabinet Secretary as well as Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs.
