Kenyan socialite and influencer Vera Sidika has once again shut down persistent rumours about her finances, strongly denying claims that she is struggling or has moved out of her luxury home.
On Monday, Vera took to her Instagram stories to address the gossip. Rumours had spread that she had left her lavish mansion and was now renting a simple apartment in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.
“Kenyans, hamchokiii. You just repeat the same fake rumour every year, hamma jipya?” she wrote.
Using humour, Vera joked about the wild claims, even saying someone might spread a rumour that she “now has a tail.”
When a follower asked about the apartment reports, Vera pointed to her wealth: “Ati Nimesota na Range Rover Vogue ya 18 million with my full names kwa logbook?”
She added jokingly, “Ata sita rent apartment. Nita lala kwa gari tu.”
Vera explained that she owns and lives in two places: her main mansion and an apartment in Kileleshwa, which she calls her “chill spot and mancave.”
“Yaaani, till now, people don’t know I actively live in 2 places… If you see me at my apartment, it doesn’t mean I don’t have a mansion,” she said.
“Hii downfall mumeiombea for 13 years now… It can NEVER happen. Not even in a million years. God doesn’t come from your village.”
These rumours are not new; similar stories have followed Vera for years, often sparked by bloggers or online gossip.
Despite this, she continues to show her luxurious lifestyle, including expensive cars and travels.
Vera’s bold response has sparked mixed reactions online, with fans praising her confidence and others debating the rumours.
