Jane Muthoni is a popular Kikuyu gospel musician and a social media influencer who has moved from grass to fame through hard work and determination within the shortest period of time. She is a member of Kikuyu musicians Sacco called TAMCO Sacco which they started some years ago.
Some hours ago she was live where she talked about TAMCO Sacco and her thoughts about it. According to her they started the sacco Led by the late Kikuyu benga musician John Demathew and she was among the officials. She resigned from being among the officials after the death of John Demathew since she didn’t want to be asked about anyone’s money in future because she was not in good terms with the management which was being led by Epha Maina to date.
After resigning from the position she was removed from all official groups and she can’t access any information about the sacco despite being one of it’s members. She said that she has her own shares in the company and now she want all her money back. She said that she also contributed to other development activities like buying of land which they don’t know about. She added that they have also been paying for the office which they can’t access. Jane is therefore calling upon all Kikuyu musicians to stand now and demand to know about the Sacco and what it is doing to help musicians.
