The aged man who came into limelight during the protests has now revealed his real name in an interview with a popular You Tuber, Dj Sonnie.

He claimed that he is called Priest Kiarie and resides in Kieni, Nyeri County.

The aged man claimed to be part of the aged people who fought for independence.

He claimed that he joined the Gen Z’s protests to ensure that Kenya gets full independence and accountable leadership.

In a video shared by DJ Sonnie, the aged man was featured singing a popular Kikuyu gospel song, “Wihoke Mwathani Rugendoini’ which means ‘Trust In The Lord In The Journey.'(Photo courtesy- Gen Z’s Musa, DJ Sonnie and Mumbi singing the gospel song)

In the shared video, the aged man was partying ways with Dj Sonnie and Mumbi who had visited him for an interview.
