Western MPs have hit out at Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi for not fighting for the 30 per cent deal that they sealed with President William Ruto when they formed Kenya Kwanza.

Mudavadi and National Speaker Moses Wetangula were promised 30 per cent of the Kenya Kwanza government after they led ANC and Ford Kenya parties to Kenya Kwanza.

According to Bumula MP Jack Wamboka, it is Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua who is ensuring all appointments go to Mt Kenya if not to the President’s region.

The first-timer MP noted that Gachagua is fully fighting for Mt Kenya to get all the necessary appointments while Mudavadi is being sent by the President outside the country.

“Where is the 30 per cent? When Rigathi Gachagua is saying all appointments are going to Kikuyu land, our brother is only going to the USA, London, the President is just sending him out of this country, we need you to be firm and fight for our people,” Wamboka said.

His sentiments were echoed by former Defence CS Eugene Wamalwa, who noted that it is only two tribes that are benefiting from this government.
