In her position, she was the engine running the operations in this KDF medical training college that trains military medical team.
In a country that has already seen two female KDF officers rise to the rank of a Major General, Colonel Kamotho is among those tipped to break that record.
With age still favoring her military ambitions, Colonel Kamotho, who is a specialist officer, is one woman to watch closely.
Colonel Dr Kamotho is now serving as a Chief Nursing Officer at the Nairobi Regional Hospital.
