PART 1

Jayden and Jojo went looking for engagement rings, but the prices were ridiculously high, one ring costing Sh30, 000. Jayden told Jojo to relax and just take the money since he was the one paying. Jojo didn’t want them to take the expensive ones, but Jayden kept insisting.

Isabelle visited Sharon and saw that they had renovated the house, it looked amazing. Jojo went straight to Grandpa Jay and wanted to talk privately, but Isabelle told Jojo not to worry, saying, “I know you’re afraid of Sharon, but just speak up” Jojo then told them that she and Jayden were getting engaged tomorrow.

Sharon Surprisingly looked at Jojo—she even asked why she was saying it like someone who wasn’t happy, looking almost like she was already divorced! Val asked Jojo if she had already bought a dress, but she hadn’t. Val reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry, you won’t dress casually like that. Let’s go to town and pick a dress.”

Grandpa Jay followed Jojo and asked her what was wrong, telling her that he could tell she wasn’t okay. Jojo admitted to Grandpa Jay that she felt like everything was a bit rushed, plus the bigger issue was her father—he didn’t want or like Jayden. Grandpa reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry, one day Jayden will be a great man.”

While shopping, Val told Jojo, “Jayden is really a good guy, even though he looks like an old-school man, but you’ll never regret choosing him.” They bought clothes, and Val even took pictures and posted them on NGC.

PART 2

Tomorrow is Jojo’s big day, but Val went ahead and bought herself a stunning dress, so much so that her mother asked her, “Are you trying to steal someone’s man or what?” But Val told her, “No way, my man is Amani.”

Jojo got back home and was already annoyed with Amani. Shortly after, Amani called her, and Jojo asked, “What’s your problem? Why do you keep calling me?” Amani replied, “Come on, you should understand…” But Jojo interrupted, saying, “Listen, you are a red flag, so stop calling me.”

Amani then told Jojo, “By the way, congrats, I see you’re getting engaged…” Jojo asked, “How did you know?” Turns out Val had already posted on Facebook, and the news had gone viral. Amani told Jojo, “Don’t you see that you’re rushing things?” But Jojo shut him down with a “Please, MYOB.”

Now, at Mark’s home, Grandpa was really happy to see Jojo ready for the engagement, though Jojo was feeling nervous.

Jojo sat down with the elders, and Grandpa reassured her, saying, “Don’t worry, even your mother went through the same thing.” Jojo then asked Mark if he could stand in for Jayden as his father figure, but Mark replied, “I’m not yet married—would that really work?” That situation seemed tough. Neema then asked Jojo, “What if your dad stands in for Jayden?” But Eddy couldn’t, since he despised Jayden too much. Mark had to step outside for fresh air as the whole situation caught him off guard, and Neema followed him.

Mark started reflecting on how he had been talking to Amani without realizing that Amani was his son.

Neema later came back and told Mark, “Guess what? Amani called Jojo and told her he just wanted to know his father…” When Mark heard that Amani had called him ‘dad,’ he was overjoyed.

Amani then decided to call Eddy, saying, “I heard about Jojo’s engagement plans… I just called to offer my congratulations.” Amani didn’t have much else to say.
