Kenyan content creator Frank Doso has once again opened up about his past relationship with fellow social media personality Lydia Wanjiru, sharing a personal story that has sparked widespread discussion online.
Speaking during a recent interview, Frank recalled an incident that he says happened early in their relationship, a moment he claims made him develop deeper feelings for Lydia. According to Frank, the incident took place during Lydia’s birthday celebrations when she was hosting friends at her place.
Frank explained that when he arrived, he found Lydia’s friends occupying her bedroom as they continued with the celebrations. He claimed that Lydia made a decision that surprised him at the time by asking her friends to leave the bedroom so that he could sleep there comfortably.
He stated that Lydia handled the situation respectfully, ensuring her friends were comfortable elsewhere while prioritising his rest. Frank added that after a long day, he went to sleep in the bedroom and only realised later that the celebrations were still ongoing outside.
According to him, when he woke up the following morning, Lydia’s friends were still awake and enjoying themselves, an indication that they had not been sent away entirely but simply relocated so he could sleep.
Frank said that this gesture left a lasting impression on him, describing it as a sign of care and consideration. He revealed that it was after that night that he decided to officially ask Lydia to be his girlfriend.
The story comes months after the pair’s highly publicised breakup, which played out across social media platforms and interviews. Lydia Wanjiru previously revealed that Frank had once paid her KSh 1 million following an earlier breakup, a move she said influenced her decision to reconcile with him at the time.
She openly stated that the money was used to improve her business and admitted that financial effort mattered to her in relationships. Despite giving their relationship another chance, Lydia later confirmed that they broke up again, describing the separation as final.
