Celebrated media personality Mercy Tyra Murengu is currently indeed among the happiest people in the world.
This is because the award-winning journalist, who previously worked at Milele FM, has now landed a job at the rival station Radio Maisha.

Mercy Tyra has actually landed a top job at the Standard Group-owned station, because she is now the new Program Controller of Radio Maisha.
According to reports, she will now be expected to oversee the station’s programming, content direction and overall broadcast strategy in this new position.
This big news was actually disclosed by Victor Mulama, who is one of the presenters at Radio Maisha.
It should be noted that Mercy Tyra Murengu has been appointed as the Program Controller of Radio Maisha at a time when she is also serving as the Director of Journalism and Editorial Strategy at The Africa Feature Network.
Before that however, Mercy Tyra Murengu worked for a while at Milele FM in 2025, where she used to host the gospel show dubbed Shangwe Na Utukufu, that aired in the afternoon.
