George Kinoti, the former director of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), has had a modest life since leaving the agency.
During President Uhuru’s administration, Kinoti—who was heavily suspected of orchestrating the extrajudicial killings of numerous Kenyans—came to light on social media during his son’s thanksgiving ceremony, which took place at his home.
The ceremony coincided with the son’s preparation to depart for the United Kingdom to continue his education.
Kenyans expressed curiosity in the replies, questioning why wealthy parents continue to send their kids abroad rather than letting them attend school among locals.
In that instance, some people are now unhappy with the country’s education system and blame them of ruining it. However, several were taken aback by the grandeur on display in Kinoti’s mansion, which was exquisitely decorated and lit up. Take a look at the image below.
