Every day, millions of people travel across the world for business, holidays, education and family visits. Behind many of these journeys are major airports that connect continents, welcome international visitors and keep global travel moving.

Some airports stand out because of the enormous number of passengers passing through their terminals every year. Based on 2025 passenger traffic figures, these are five of the busiest airports in the world.
