Mafwele

Just hours after Kenyan activist Boniface Mwangi and Ugandan activist Agather Atuhaire were released by the Tanzanian authorities after being arrested and held incommunicado for over three days, netizens are now working hard to try and identify the police officers who were involved in the whole drama, as they want to make sure that justice is served to the activists.

This is because when Boniface Mwangi and Agather Atuhaire were released, they were each not in the best state because they had been tortured by the Tanzanian authorities due to reasons that are yet to be disclosed.

As we speak, one person who is believed to be a senior member of the Tanzanian Police Force, has already been identified.

This person is none other than Faustine Jackson Mafwele, who is the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in Tanzania.

This was disclosed by the People’s Liberation Party leader Martha Karua, who took to her X account and asked a rhetorical question about whether the man was a member of the Tanzanian Police Force.

The post by Martha Karua however elicited massive reactions from netizens, who confirmed that indeed Faustine Jackson Mafwele was a member of the Tanzanian Police Force.

Boniface Mwangi confirms Jackson Mafwele ordered his persecution
Reacting to the post that Martha Karua had made on X, Boniface Mwangi also confirmed that Faustine Jackson Mafwele is the man who gave orders for him and Agather Atuhaire to be tortured in Tanzania.

He also claimed that the senior ranking officer also threatened to sexually assault the Ugandan activist during that time that they were held incommunicado.

“This man we now know is called Faustin Mafwele threatened to rape @AAgather and ensure she gets pregnant with a daughter since Agatha said she is a mother of two boys. He accused me of false things that could only have been lies that he was fed by someone from Kenya. Stole the books Agather and I were reading. He is the one who made the call for us to be picked up by the tortures from the Central Police Station…” Boniface Mwangi said.
