Austin Muturi, he is one of the best kikuyu gospel artist whose songs are always hit and their message never fade.
In his latest interview, Austin said that he has been going through a lot from the time he released his first hit songs called “Irathiro”. He said that he found himself battling with stress and Alcoholism.
Austin said that, when he wanted to take his daughter to the school, his friend gave him a loan which had harsh conditions and high interest rates, Austin said that within a period of one year, a loan of 50k had accumulated to 400k.
He said that his friend started to blackmail him leading him to depression because at that time he was broke. Austin said that that due to financial stress, he started taking too much alcohol to a point he could not compose another song.
Even currently, Austin is still in depression and he is still in the world of alcoholism.
