Comedian Eric Omondi has stepped in to support content creator Georgina Njenga following growing concern over her recent social media posts.
Eric on Friday, October 2, said he had located and met Georgina and planned to take her to Chiromo Hospital Group for professional mental health support.
In a video shared online, Eric appealed to Kenyans to support Georgina and her family during the difficult period.
“Hey guys, huyu hatutampoteza. Her daughter needs her, and she is NOT okay at all. We will take her to Chiromo because they have the best Mental health Services,” Eric said.
He also shared contact details for Georgina’s mother, Alice Wairiru, and asked well-wishers to send whatever support they could.
Eric had earlier appealed to Kenyans to help him locate Georgina, saying he was concerned about her well-being.
His appeal followed a series of social media posts by Georgina that had raised concern among some of her followers.
On September 29, Georgina shared a post referencing death and her desire to be with God, prompting further concern online.
The latest development comes weeks after Georgina asked people to stop speculating about her situation, saying she was dealing with “spiritual battles” that others might not understand.
Eric said the immediate focus is getting Georgina professional support and ensuring she does not go through the difficult period alone.
