Diamond, Jose Chameleone, Vanessa Mdee mourn Bongo singer Maunda Zoro
East African musicians led by Jose Chameleone, Vanessa Mdee and Diamond Platnumz have condoled with the family of the bongo singer Maundu Zorro who died in a grisly road accident.
Jose wrote ‘Sincere condolences to the Zoro family and friends. Rest In Peace my long time friend’
As Diamond expressed the loss to the industry.
Vanessa wrote ‘Maunda was/is an icon na alikuwa one of the pioneers wa mziki wa Bongo Flava kwa wanawake. Asante kwa uthubutu wako na kwa kushare kipaji chako. Maunda died on April 13, after attending a fete in a head on collision with a lorry.
Her brother announced her passing
