International Media DW has now revealed more details following the death of a Pakistan journalist in Kenya. News from DW has now revealed details involving the death of the journalist and how he was brushing shoulders with the government of Pakistan. Before fleeing to Kenya, Sharif was employed by the Pakistani ARY News outlet, where he persuaded investigative journalism where he interviewed leading Pakistan public figures.
Sources now claim that Sharif was a top critic of Pakistani’s powerful military and supported former prime minister Imran Khan. The Pakistani media has now revealed that there is high chances Sharif was assassinated.
Sharif had previously interviewed Imran Khan’s Chief of Staff Shahbaz Gill in August who stayed with Khan after being removed from office in April. During the interview that was aired on ARY TV Channel, Gill asked the soldiers to refuse receiving illegal orders something that attracted a lot of controversy.
After the interview, Gill was arrested and then a warrant issued to Sharif. The reporter was later fired from ARY News channel this August forcing him to flee to Dubai before coming to Kenya.
