A popular male gospel artist has married the husband of a woman from Murang’a, leaving her heartbroken and in disbelief.
Galdiciah Nyambura, the woman at the center of this drama, recently shared her painful story, revealing the struggles she faced in her marriage.
Nyambura fell in love with her husband and started a family with him. However, she soon discovered that her husband was cheating on her—not with another woman, but with a well-known male gospel singer.
In an interview with TUKO TV’s “My Story,” Nyambura recounted how her husband had always depended on her for financial support because he was not interested in working.
Their situation worsened when they were evicted from their home due to unpaid rent.
Nyambura recalled, “Whenever it was time to pay rent, he would make excuses.
He assured me that our children were safe because I was a hardworking wife.”
Despite these challenges, Nyambura held on to her marriage, hoping her husband would change for the better.
She admitted that growing up, no one taught her what to expect from a good husband, which led her to accept her husband’s shortcomings.
Things took a troubling turn when her husband became friends with the gospel artist. Initially, Nyambura thought their friendship was harmless.
However, she started noticing suspicious behavior. Her husband would come home smelling bad and wearing dirty clothes, prompting tense arguments that he always denied.
Eventually, Nyambura decided to leave and seek work in Saudi Arabia, hoping to escape the toxic relationship.
While she was abroad, she received a shocking call from her former landlord, who informed her that her husband had married the gospel artist.
This news devastated Nyambura, especially since she had ignored many red flags throughout their relationship.
Reflecting on her husband’s infidelity, Nyambura recalled a time when a drunken neighbor bragged about being a “real man” and not someone who cheats on his partner for money.
At the time, she dismissed it as mere drunken talk, but now she realizes the neighbor was likely referring to her husband.
After spending two years away, Nyambura returned to Kenya, hoping to rebuild her life and move forward.
She admitted she is still struggling to accept that a male gospel singer took her husband from her.
