During Meru tour, Maua constituency, on the second day of president William Ruto’s tour in Mt Kenya region, Deputy President Kithure Kindiki who was with him has requested the president William Ruto to give him another new responsibilities and new role to deal with cartels who are in the Miraa industry.
Kindiki who was speaking said that during his time as the Interior Cabinet Secretary before he was appointed as the Deputy President, Kindiki said that during his tenure terrorists and bandits knew there was a CS called Kindiki and he promised he will deal with the cartels in the Miraa sector.
“When Ruto gave me that Interior CS job, i dealt with terrorists and bandits, they knew there was a CS called Kindiki. I want to ask Ruto to give me the responsibility to deal with Miraa cartels because i know them. I will deal with them very early in the morning,” DP Kindiki said
