Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, the current Member of Parliament for Kiharu Constituency and an ally of Pres William Ruto has now left many Kenyans speculating whether he was targeting Treasury CS John Mbadi when he urged Kenyans and to be specific the JSS interns to desist from listening to road-side declarations regarding their confirmation.
John Mbadi, a few days ago said that the govt is broke and that it can’t afford to employ JSS interns under P & P terms.
During the highly-charged rally in Nandi on Saturday where the Mt Kenya region MP sought to assure Kenyans that there is no way the govt can be broke when it comes to basic issue such as Health, Education and Agriculture.
“Mimi rais nakushukuru sana Kwa sababu tukitengeneza budget ya nchi ya Kenya Kwa sababu Kuna vitu ulisema sisikatwe. And I want to assure our teachers and especially those who are interns in the JSS, I’m the chair of budget pale Kwa National Assembly.
“I want to assure them that we budgeted for kshs 18.7bn to confirm our JSS interns to pensionable and permanent terms. Na hiyo pesa Yote iko. Kwa hivyo wakiona Maneno wajue tumewajali maslahi Yao….,” Ndindi Nyoro said in Nandi today.
