Wednesday, the 18th of June, was indeed a special day for celebrated Kenyan disk jockey Jackson Kamau alias DJ Soxxy and his wife Anne Kamau alias Ciiku Wa Soxxy.
This is because on the day, they officially marked 14 years since they said “I do” in front of the whole world.

Like other couple out there who usually love to celebrate their anniversaries, DJ Soxxy and Ciiku Wa Soxxy were also proud of the milestone and therefore they celebrated it in style.
The first person to do it was Ciiku Wa Soxxy, and she took to her instagram account and shared 19 photos, that basically took netizens down the memory lane to the early years of their relationship.
These photos included those that they took when they were engaged and also those that they took on the day when they held their Indian-themed wedding at the Nairobi National Park.
Ciiku Wa Soxxy then accompanied the photos with a caption where she gushed over how far she and DJ Soxxy have come, since they were only 29-years-old when they got married.
“14 years ago today…I walked down the aisle to You and I by Lifehouse – and I still mean every word of that song 🥹💍✨️.
We were two 29-year-olds figuring life out, hearts full of hope, clueless but committed.
And here we are – 14 years later – still choosing each other, still growing, still us.
So much has changed, but one thing still remains: ill do it all over again – same song, same man, same love.
Happy Anniversary, my love @djsoxxy.
Thank you for walking this journey with me…hand in hand, heart to heart.

He then accompanied it with a heartwarming message, where he gushed over his wife and further thanked God for how far He had brought them as a couple.
“Today we celebrate not just our anniversary but the journey we’ve walked together, hand in hand, heart to heart. Through laughter and tears, wins and losses.
I thank God for your love and support. You’re not just my spouse but a friend who we grow old pamoja.
Happy anniversary, my love. Milele ni me and you 😊😊❤️” DJ Soxxy wrote.
It should be noted that in those 14 years that DJ Soxxy has been married to Ciiku Wa Soxxy, they have been blessed with only two kids who are now already grown; a girl and a boy.
