Samuel Muraya, popularly known as DJ Mo, has broken his silence over fresh claims that he cheated on his wife, gospel singer Size 8, during his recent trip to the United States.
The Kenyan gospel DJ and media personality addressed the allegations on Tuesday, September 1, during a conversation with fellow entertainer Daddy Owen, who questioned him about screenshots allegedly circulating online.
Daddy Owen told DJ Mo that people had seen screenshots linked to the claims, prompting the entertainer to respond to the growing discussion surrounding his marriage.
“By the way unajua watu wako na mouthing. Wanaongea vitu hawajui by the way. Sijitetei mimi,” DJ Mo said.
The DJ appeared reluctant to engage extensively with the allegations, instead questioning the reliability of information being shared about his private life.
He subsequently raised concerns about the growing role of artificial intelligence in generating and spreading information online, urging people to be more careful about what they believe.
“Nataka kuwaambia kitu moja. Kuna AI na ChatGPT. Be careful guys,” he said.
DJ Mo then pointed to his relationship with Size 8 as he sought to reassure those following the controversy. He noted that his wife had called him, suggesting that their communication remained intact despite the claims circulating online.
“Si unaona bibi yangu ananipigia simu? Tuko sawa,” he said.
The entertainer went on to describe Size 8 as his “good friend”, while making it clear that he remained committed to protecting her reputation.
“Napenda wife yangu. And I will never badmouth her,” DJ Mo stated.
He further said that people close to him were aware of the affection he has for his wife and suggested that outside speculation should not define their relationship.
“Hata mabeshte wangu wanajua how I love my wife,” he added.
DJ Mo ultimately placed greater importance on what Size 8 knows about their relationship than on allegations circulating on social media.
“What matters is my wife is okay, I love her, and she knows. The point is, she knows. Anything else does not matter. And I treasure her,” he said.
The comments come amid renewed public attention on the couple’s marriage following claims shared online.
DJ Mo and Size 8 have remained one of Kenya’s most recognisable entertainment couples, with their relationship frequently attracting public interest.
