Popular Mugithi musician Lawrence Njuguna Wagura alias DJ Fatxo has broken his silence after a new evidence handed him a huge relief in the Jeff Mwathi murder case.

This is the evidence that was presented on Thursday at the Milimani Law Courts by Chief Inspector Timothy Bett, who is a CCTV expert and also a key witness in the case.

Timothy Bett actually presented several footages that captured the last moments when Jeff Mwathi was alive, before he mysteriously died after falling from the 10th floor of an apartment in Roysambu.

According to the footage, DJ Fatxo, the late Jeff Mwathi as well as three ladies were seen arriving at the apartment using a white car at around 3:26 AM.

They then proceeded to the 10th floor, where DJ Fatxo’s house was located, at around 3:32 AM, and this was via an elevator.

While they were at the house however, another red car arrives at 3:52 AM and this car had two men – one of them who had a white hoodie. They also boarded another lift that took them to DJ Fatxo’s house.

At around 4:47 AM however, DJ Fatxo, who had donned a white t-shirt, a white cap and a blue short was then captured leaving his house with the three ladies, and left Jeff Mwathi with the other two men.

The four used the same silver car and they exited from the apartment at around 5:02 AM.

The evidence later showed that Jeff Mwathi fell at around 5:47 AM, and this was after over half an hour since DJ Fatxo and the three ladies exited the compound.

The Mugithi crooner actually returns to the compound using his car at around 9:52 AM, and he was captured walking towards the scene where Jeff Mwathi’s body was lying after falling down.
