Kenyan YouTuber and influencer Diana Marua and her husband, musician Kevin Bahati, have opened up about past challenges in their marriage, addressing long-standing cheating claims that once caused tension between them.
The couple shared the details in a candid conversation, revealing that their relationship went through a difficult season that left fans worried about their future together.
Diana recalled that the issue began during a period when they were not on good terms. According to her, she discovered that Bahati had been communicating with another woman, something that immediately raised suspicion.
She explained that she questioned him after noticing unusual behavior, but initially felt he was not being completely honest.
“There was a time we were not okay, and it was a very bad season for us. During that time, an incident happened and I asked him, ‘Who is this person you have been texting?’
He took me for a fool, but I kept quiet,” Diana said. She added that after pressing him further, Bahati admitted that he had indeed been calling and texting the woman, claiming she was living in another country.
The mother of three also revealed that her doubts grew stronger when she later found a private photo on Bahati’s phone that he had received and forgotten to delete. The discovery intensified the tension between them, forcing the couple to confront the issue directly.
Months earlier, Bahati had publicly declared on social media that he had never cheated on his wife, but Diana responded in the comment section, saying she was not convinced.
Shortly after the exchange, she went silent online, sparking speculation among fans, with some suggesting she was pregnant while others thought she had undergone surgery.
The couple now says they worked through the rough patch and chose to stay together, noting that long marriages often face tests but require honesty and forgiveness to survive.
