Renowned lifestyle content creator Diana Marua has faced criticism from a section of social media users for reportedly ignoring to wish her step-daughter Mueni a happy birthday. Bahati’s firstborn Mueni is celebrating her 7th birthday and many had expected Diana Marua to send a sweet birthday message to her as she marked the special day.
Diana Marua did not, however, share any social media posts to acknowledge Mueni’s birthday. This did not go unnoticed as the majority of the netizens took to the comment section of her recent posts to criticize her. Many questioned why she had changed her attitude towards the child, citing that she was initially treating her as one of her own.
What appeared to have worsened the situation and stirred the reaction, even more, is the fact that Bahati took to his social media page to wish Mueni a happy birthday. He dedicated a sweet message to her in which he expressed pride and happiness. In the social media post in question, Bahati had a few nuggets of wisdom for her daughter.
“My Daughter as you Turn 7 Today I would like to remind you 3 things… You are Loved and Treasured and I will forever be by your side. Always remember that you will always have a special place in my Heart – to me you are irreplaceable. Lastly, you can always count on me and One of the reasons I work hard today is to give you a better tomorrow,” Bahati’s social media post read.
Interestingly enough, Diana Marua did not comment on the social media post as she always does. A section of the social media users claimed that this may have developed from the fallout between Diana Marua and Mueni’s mother, Yvette Obura.
