Ministry of interior and coordination of national administration cabinet secretary Prof Kithure Kindiki was in his unusual element today as he stepped out in style for a security mission in the troubled Wajir county.
Shedding off his usual suits and neck ties, the cabinet secretary donned a stylish outfit that left many kenyans reacting as he relentlessly embarked on criminals engaged in banditry activities.
As The Star reports, the vest that the cabinet secretary donned as can be seen in the photo above is an elite operational vest used by elite teams of police. The whitish gumboots that the CS donned are tactical boots used by police commandos in specialized operations.
During the mission, the cabinet secretary ordered the immediate training and deployment of at least 200 Kenya police reservists who are to be deployed between the border of Wajir and Isiolo counties.
Accompanied by deputy inspector general of police Noor Gabow, the powerful CS toured the security challenged Dadachbasha and Arabajan areas of Wajir county.
