Former prime minister and veteran politician Raila Odinga during a public consultative rally at historic Kamukunji grounds gave a clear indication that he planned to heighten anti-government protests. Among the leaders who took up the protest include Wiper boss Kalonzo Musyoka and NARC leaders Martha Karua.
Details emerging from dependable sources indicate that Raila Omollo Odinga is planning on storming Ruto’s stronghold this weekend, Mt. Kenya. Reports from local media disclosed that Azimio la Umoja Presidential candidate is set to hold a series of rallies in Nyamdarua, Kiambu, Murang’a, and Gachugua hometown Nyeri.
According to a post by Kenya Television Network, Raila Odinga has dispatched his loyalist to Mt Kenya to prepare for the mega rallies. Among the leaders who are warming up for the anti-Ruto protest rallies include Ephraim Maina, Jeremiah Kioni, Peter Kenneth, and Thuo Matheng’e.
This comes amid Kenya Kwanza announcing a National Prayer day to be on 12th February 2023 and will be graced by Dr. William Ruto.
