After been invited for a three months trials by Portuguese club Valeo Nazare Futebol Sad after which he failed to get visa on time, latest updates indicate that former Gor Mahia midfielder John Ochieng has penned down a 2 year contract with Zambian outfits Zanaco FC.Ochieng becomes the second Kenyan footballer to join the club this transfer window after Dennis Ng’ang’a who also joined from Gor Mahia.
“I had hoped to make it to Portugal to begin my professional journey but there were hitches.I’m now headed to Zanaco and I’m looking forward to the new challenge,” Ochieng told Pepeta.
