It is clearly evident that nothing is going on at Uhuru gardens in Nairobi County amid the anticipated swearing in ceremony of the Deputy President elect Kithure Kindiki.

This is after reports from the reliable sources revealed that the situation on ground in Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi is sluggish. This comes amid the anticipated swearing in ceremony shared by Moses Kuria who gave a hint that the ground was being made ready for the oath taking ceremony on Saturday morning which was also the same day for the deadline for the conclusion of the Impeachment of the former deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.

“Uhuru Gardens in Nairobi is sluggish, no official government function taking place despite claims of DP-Elect Kindiki’s swearing-in; courts have temporarily barred the process” stated the reports.

The process has however been delayed owing to various court orders that barred the deputy President elect Kithure Kindiki from assuming office. The impeachment at Senate is also on hold owing to the Court ruling that sought to stop it.
