A woman dismissed from a Catholic religious order has turned to selling palm wine to support herself, and she has a pointed message for those still addressing her by her former title.
Kinse Shako Annastasia shared the update on her Facebook page, revealing she had ventured into the palm wine trade following her exit from religious life.
Alongside announcing her new hustle, she made a clear request: she no longer wishes to be called “Sister.”

She said she understood the title came from a place of respect and affection, but appealed to the public to help her adjust, insisting that chapter of her life had ended and asking to simply be called Kinse going forward.
