The CS Health Susan Nakhumicha has been at the forefront saying that the government was broke and it’s unable to meet it’s obligations. The CS Health Susan Nakhumicha had previously asked patients to pay from their pocket for NHIF didn’t have money.
It’s however not clear as to why she has maintained that the government is broke despite receiving the NHIF funds. It’s however a fact that key government institutions have continued to experience financial challenges since president William Ruto assumed office as president.
The CS Health Susan Nakhumicha has thanked president William Ruto for pushing hard to ensure that money for NHIF was released. She is clear that patients have at least escaped the anguish of paying for their hospital services.
