Early this morning, John De Matthew’s daughter honored her late son with heartfelt messages. Jane De Matthew expressed that while God has given her many reasons to smile, she still remembers her son, who died several years ago.
The musician reflects that this is her saddest month, as she lost both her father and her son during this time—her son due to an illness and her father in an accident.
“Sometimes I miss your smile, encouragement, and hugs. Why did you have to leave us so soon? Continue resting in peace, dear son,” she grieved.
Jane lost her 13-year-old son, Victor, to a rare blood condition known as polycythemia. This disorder leads the body to produce an excess of red blood cells, resulting in an overproduction of blood.
Despite her loss, Jane acknowledges God’s faithfulness, as He has blessed her with a beautiful daughter, Tiffany. May God continue to bless her abundantly.
