MC Jimmie Kajim, co-host of the Gukena FM breakfast show, claims that when he first began presenting Mugiithi events, no one paid him any attention, but he persisted.
The now-famous Mugiithi host expressed his gratitude to Word Is for recognizing his company’s name.
The comedian, who made his name in the Mugiithi industry, advanced his MC career where he hosts business events.
“I used to MC for Mugiithi even when nobody recognized what we do. In all careers, there is growth and there is always a past that we all can talk about,” he said.
Kajim worked as a tout on the Githurai 44-Kahawa West route before being hired by Gukena FM. He claims he developed a large following of passengers who thought he was amusing and upbeat.
His words of wisdom for young people are that every success begins with the decision to attempt.
Jimmie urged people that they have a future and God has good plans for them so they should never give up no matter who mistreated them, what lies they have been told, or how terrible the past has been. Above all, never give up.
The Gukena Fm breakfast show is hosted by well-known media figures Mc Jimmie Kajim and Njoki Wa Mburu every week. Njoki Wa Mburu also presents the gospel program “Sunday Morning na Njoki Wa Mburu.” They have worked together for more than five years.
