On Monday this week, Comedian Kairu Wa Ndeiya, who is popularly known as Wakairu, joined Inooro FM Radio. Wakairu and Wakarindi Wa Ndiithi were hosting a show called Thiririka every Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 1 PM.
Today, Kairu Wa Ndeiya did not report to work as usual, and his place was replaced by Simon Makonde. Later, a resignation letter from Dennis Kairu Wanjiru circulated online, revealing some of the reasons for his decision.
One of the reasons is that the threats and pressure from media personalities from rival radio stations were too much and that the decision to quit was too hard to make for the sake of his safety.
Kairu Wa Ndeiya also appreciated his colleagues and management for their support, guidance, and collaboration. We wish him well in his endeavors. In the meantime, congratulations Simon Makonde.
