The late Coach Robert Matano’s daughter has come out to speak about the painful journey that ended up being Mama’s illness and finally her demise giving an emotional glimpse into what was going on in the family. In a touching expose she said her mother had been suffering from a long illness that weakened her health and also finally drained the family’s emotional fabric. Despite seeking medical care and holding onto hope her condition gradually worsened leaving the family devastated.
She said her mother was a strong and loving woman who never stopped fighting even when she was weak. She believed the family would come into the hospital visits prayers and sleepless nights of hope that a recovery would soon come but sadly never did. She said the loss left a huge dent especially on Coach Matano who had to juggle professional responsibility with personal grief.
Her message was also one of gratitude to friends relatives and well wishers who stood by her during the trying period. She urged families to continue appreciating the loved ones around them and to prioritize health since life can change unexpectedly.
